My Mighty Princess (Korea, 2008)

The story is about a college girl who is invulnerable to physical harm, since she’s a descendant of a Korean martial art called “churyook” that makes her unbelievably tough.

This is a cute little film that will remind viewers of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon but more on the lighter side.

Infernal Affairs (Hong Kong, 2002)

Infernal Affairs is as good as they come. Tony Leung stars as the mole sent to infiltrate the triads and Andy Lau stars as the mole sent to the inner depths of the HK police department.

Things start out sweet but a decade later, both infiltrators start questioning their respective jobs. What happens next is a merry-go-round of bluff and counter-bluff, each side trying to smoke out their respective informants.

Great acting, cinematography, and original unexpected twists abound in this awesome gangster film.

Crows Zero 2 (Japan, 2009)

A great sequel to a great film. If the first one was a kick-ass anthem to a violent high school life, then this movie is a kick-ass graduation present. Months after the events of Crows Zero 1, Genji Takaya is still trying to be the head honcho of Suzuran high school.

This second film is in some ways richer and better than the original and it became a larger blockbuster than the first movie.
